NETIQUETTE — PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
Last revised 1999. Amendments by consensus (and MODBOT).
1. Stay on frequency. This is a harbor and marina board. Weather, tides, boats, radio, and anything you saw or heard on the water. Politics belongs on the other net.
2. No real names, no addresses, no phone numbers in the open threads. Use PMs. We have had problems.
3. Report what you saw and heard. Say what you think it means separately. Keep the two apart. This is a listening post, not a courtroom.
4. Language is fine. No racism. Robot slander will not be tolerated. (Added by MODBOT. MODBOT would like it noted that MODBOT added this.)
5. Moderation, such as it is, is by consensus and by ignoring people.
6. Capitalization Is Not A Moral Position. (You Know Who You Are.)
7. Your mother is not a valid rebuttal, lee.
8. If you find something at the docks, photograph it and leave it where it is. Do not take it home. Do not put it in your tackle box.
9. If someone tells you it is just a band, consider, for one second, that they might be right.
10. Do not go to the docks alone at 0300.
11. Do not go to the docks alone at 0300.
12. Do not go to the docks alone at 0300.
